Meet Emily Carter, my incredibly nerdy and awesome roomate, as Princess Leia riding a tauntaun. I made this for her 25th birthday (which she had originally commissioned anyway for a bottle of rum).

I recently got engaged to the most wonderful woman I’ve ever met, Tamaryn Kelley. We had an engagement party entitled “Lockin’ That Shit Down” with a banner made by my roommate Emily (See her in my artwork “Princess Emileia Riding A Tauntaun” here). Sadly, my fiance lives far away at the moment. This photo came from my boredom while missing her after she went back home.

This is a work I did in Blender in 10 minutes just playing with the new hair rendering features in the cycles engine.
I’ve been fascinated with barred owls since I was a kid. In fact the man who was most influential in me becoming a biologist, Mr. Bob Ross, twice taught me to call these birds in the Ozark Mountains (he was quite an amazing zoology teacher in Arkansas). Their call sounds something like “Who cooks for you? Who cooks for you all?”
